Hot & Cold Side Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in Hot & Cold Side Kitchen repair which includes HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in commercial kitchen, schools, jails, restaurants, and other similar buildings/properties
• Be able to lift and install parts that are 50 pounds in a safe manner
• Be able to work second or third shift on occasion with weeks in advanced planning
• Have a valid driver's license to drive company vehicles and drive trailer attached
• Perform maintenance duties around the shop as needed
• Be on call on rotating schedule and be expected to leave within an hour

Skills

• Perform services and repair on commercial kitchen equipment, including HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Understanding the refrigeration cycle and the ability to work on refrigeration units with 608 EPA certification
• Understanding kitchen equipment including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Understand electric and the wiring system to be able to diagnose units using schematics
• Understand how to use tablets, phones, and other devices to complete work order calls, look up parts or equipment manuals to complete job.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide friendly customer service to ensure healthy long term business partnership with customer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
