Nemsys is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to manage the company’s financial operations by overseeing accounting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning while partnering with leadership to support business growth.

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8 am-5 pm

The right candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Our Controller will:
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all federal, state, and local financial planning.
- Coordinate audits and maintain relationships with external auditors.
- Develop financial models and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Supervise procurement and inventory management while overseeing purchasing and vendor contracts.
- Manage relationships with benefit, payroll, and retirement plan providers.
- Lead and mentor finance and procurement staff, foster accountability and continuous improvement.
