Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Registered Nurse as our enterprise, Director for Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing. This will be a hybrid position. This role can be based out of Nemours Children’s Hospital Wilmington, Delaware or Orlando Florida location. This is a new role that will enhance / improve the value analysis process, as well as the Strategic Sourcing function.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead enterprise Value Analysis program in pursuit of value, cost savings, standardization, quality, and safety.
- Lead and provide consultation to Nemours Children’s Health in the clinical review and evaluation of products.
- Act as a resource for Materials Management personnel, clinical personnel, and Value Analysis Teams.
- Assist Strategic Sourcing and supply chain operations in pursuing standardization and cost reduction efforts through clinical collaboration and participation in / leading Value Analysis Team meetings.
- Lead Strategic Sourcing initiatives to optimize third party spend and mitigate risk while ensuring reliable delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and execute category strategies for all commodities in alignment with enterprise goals and market dynamics.
- Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for value creation and ROI optimization
- Negotiate complex supplier agreements to secure favorable terms, reduce costs and manage risk.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings and vendor performance.
- Supervise and provide directions to Strategic Sourcing staff.
Requirements:
- BSN, a graduate of a state approved school of Nursing.
- Master’s degree in nursing, business, or related field, preferred
- RN licensure within the state of Delaware or Florida, or multi-state Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNCC). Must maintain active and in good standing throughout employment.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a nurse in an acute care setting.
- Experience working with medical supplies, supply chain, and / or cost-benefit analysis.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
