What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at Nemo Arms?
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer proficient in Gibbs CAM to join our team. The ideal candidate will create, modify, and optimize complex toolpaths for 3, 4, and 5-axis mills, lathes, swiss machines and EDM to maximize production efficiency. Several positions are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, simulate, and verify CNC programs using GibbsCAM, ensuring collision detection.
- Utilize advanced GibbsCAM features including HSM (High-Speed Machining), 5-axis, and multi-turret turning.
- Work with shop personnel to troubleshoot setups and optimize post-processors.
- Interpret complex blueprints, CAD models.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience programming CNC machines.
- Expert proficiency in GibbsCAM is required.
- Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and machining principles.
- Experience with solid modeling and importing CAD files.
- Must be able to work on several types of controllers and machines which may include Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Hurco WinMax, Sodick EDM etc.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
