- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manages company accounts, sub-ledgers, and ensures accurate expenditure classification. Develops financial analysis tools to assist in improved operations insights. Drives improved decision making through insightful analysis and strong relationships with key operations personnel. Provides value added, fact based analytics through the interpretation of financial results.
- Operational & Cost Controlling: Leads product cost standard setting and production variance analysis. Analyzes sales margins and monitors sales pricing. Supports operational initiatives, supply chain optimization, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
- Asset Management: Analyzes inventory levels and values, oversees capital investments, supports the preparation of capex requests and works to develop post-implementation reviews that will improve ROI and payback. Manages the capital and leasing requirements.
- Business Incentives: Oversee and manage requirements related to business incentives, government grants, local incentives, etc.
- Strategic Planning: Develops financial data to support budgets, forecasts, and investment plans. Collaborates with the local executive team to align financial strategy with business needs.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintains internal control systems and risk management templates. Coordinates with both internal and external auditors. Manages local tax accounting and acts as the primary interface for government financial/business matters.
- Systems Management: Responsible for the financial modules within the company's ERP system.
- Other: Completes other duties as requested and supports team members across the organization.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros); SAP or other ERP system experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
