Certified Physical Therapist Assistant, Full-Time:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for carrying out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist for inpatients/outpatients, Home Health patients, school based students, and residential care home residents. Physical Therapist Assistants provide services in accordance with the State Practice Act which include:
- Reviewing patients’ medical histories
- Providing treatments that follow established plan of cares and goals for patients to achieve the expected outcomes of the plan
- Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
- Recording patients’ progress in daily documentation and reporting to Physical Therapist changes that require modifications of plan of cares as needed
- Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant or in the health field preferred
but not necessary.
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
Req. Cert./ Licensed in State of Kansas or eligible for licensure with Kansas
Licensure: Board of Healing Arts.
American Heart CPR Certified
