What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Support Staff / Activities Coordinator position at Nemaha County Training Center, Inc.?
We are looking for a Day Support/Activities Coordinator Staff to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their vocational, social, and daily living skills (work skills, job preference, recreation, functional activities, community outings, safety, personal hygiene). This staff also develops and coordinates educational, social/leisure, and community activities for individuals served.
This position works Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm . This position is in Seneca. 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized training to individuals
- Document in accordance with established plans
- Attend meetings
- Provide a safe constructive environment that promotes learning, growth, and greater independence
- Accurately administer or assists people served with medications
- Develop and coordinate educational, social/leisure, and community activities
