Golf Operations Internship - Summer 2026

The Nemacolin Golf Internship is a paid educational opportunity for students seeking to fulfill your school’s experiential academic requirements while pursuing a career in Golf, Sports, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline. This Internship will play a valuable role within the Golf operations. Students are provided with hands-on training on either of Nemacolin’s two courses designed by the renowned Pete Dye and luxurious Golf Academy. The internship typically begins Mid-May through Mid-August and consists of 12 weeks of consecutive full-time work. Interns will be tasked with completing a project over the course of their internship specific to their department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This internship includes exposure to the various areas within the Golf Division including rotations with hands-on experience within the different areas including but not limited to Outside Golf Operations, Tournament Operations, Junior Golf, Group lessons, Golf Academy, and more. You will cross-train within the department greeting guests, learning to sell and present the golf shop retail items, mastering the day-to-day operations, and management of the tee sheet and tournament operations.

• Create a unique and rewarding golf experience
• Greets guests and assists with their needs
• Parks vehicles and stages golf cart fleet
• Assists with the tournament setup
• Assist in weekly group lessons
• Maintains the driving range and range balls
• Monitor the pace of play and a create daily recap

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required.
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
• Ability to work varying hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• 2nd or 3rd-year student in an accredited collegiate Professional Golf Management, Sports Management, Hospitality Management program, or related discipline
• Must have the ability to speak English fluently.
