This role is part of theSafety Department, working closely with safety leadership and field teams across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage work-related injury and illness cases, ensuring employees receive the right care at the right time
- Advocate for injured and ill employees, balancing medical appropriateness, regulatory requirements, and a positive employee experience
- Partner with Regional Safety Managers on OSHA compliance, exposure evaluation, and medical surveillance needs
- Triage and assess employee health concerns, applying your clinical judgment to determine appropriate next steps
- Educate employees on diagnoses, care plans, return-to-work expectations, and recovery—so they actually understand and follow through
- Analyze injury and illness trends to identify leading indicators and opportunities for prevention
- Support and strengthen a culture of care, credibility, and trust across field and office teams
- High level of autonomy and professional trust—you're empowered to make sound clinical and program decisions
- A program focused on access to care and employee advocacy, not claims management

- Active and unrestricted Iowa RN license with minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health, hospital setting, or ambulatory care
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort navigating regulatory and organizational complexity
- Assessment, triage, and patient education skills from acute care, clinic, ED, or urgent care settings
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with safety and operations partners
- Strong communication skills and a passion for relationship-based, patient-centered care
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support field teams
