Construction Technology System Administrator I, VDC

Description

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Construction Technology System Administrator, VDC in our Omaha, NE Office.

Job Summary:

Provides effective and timely resolution over a range of end-user inquiries to support Construction Operations Technology. Implements software changes, roll-out software to new users, and maintain a high level of client service.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Assistance: Offers first-line support to team members for MEP fabrication and construction management platform. Works to resolve technology-related issues including software troubleshooting, installation, and configuration. Ensures platform is up-to-date by coordinating with the provider for updates, patches, and upgrades. Helps users optimize available software for project needs.
• Integrations and Data Management: Supports the integration of other systems and platforms with the MEP fabrication and construction management platform, including ERP, Estimating and BIM solutions, in order to streamline workflows. Assists with managing and maintaining project data, including file imports and exports, ensuring data integrity between systems and platforms.
• Fabrication Support: Provides guidance to production for software and platform-related issues and inquiries as they relate to the MEP fabrication and construction management platform. Coordinates between VDC, Procurement, and Fabrication teams, to ensure efficient digital workflows, such as the connection between the construction software and fabrication machines, run smoothly.
• Inventory and Material Tracking: Assists with software-driven tracking of materials and prefabricated assemblies through the production cycle.
• System Support: Provides support for all VDC software applications, troubleshooting issues, and helping users optimize these platforms for project needs. Manages and provides support for collaboration tools used between VDC and field teams, including cloud based platforms.
• Documentation: Documents all discovered needs, requests and issues, resolutions, and solutions. Reports regularly on work complete and status of assigned tasks.
  
  

Requirements:

• 0-5 years construction technology support experience, 0-5 years in MEP fabrication and construction management platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Technology Area or related field
• Occasional Travel
