Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Walk-up Restaurant Cashier to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with walk-up orders in a courteous and professional manner
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
• Handle guest inquiries via phone, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and clear communication skills
• Use restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track reservations, seating, and guest information
• Process payments accurately using POS systems while maintaining attention to detail and basic math skills
• Support guest services by providing information about menu items, wait times, and restaurant policies
• Maintain organization of the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests
• Follow food safety standards and uphold hospitality best practices to ensure a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette
• Basic math proficiency for processing transactions accurately
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality principles is a plus
