Oil Change Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled oil change technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in automotive repair, particularly in performing oil changes and routine maintenance services. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and fluid checks on a variety of vehicles.
• Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to maintain and repair vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommendations for additional maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Assist with heavy lifting as needed during vehicle servicing.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the service department.
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge, preferably with experience in a dealership or automotive service environment.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience using power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
• At least 2 years of experience for being a mechanic.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
