Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Affordable Housing Team in one of our Florida offices, including Orlando, Boca Raton, Miami, or West Palm Beach.
About the Role
In this role, you will work directly with attorneys and paralegals on complex commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on affordable housing matters. You will support a high‑volume, deadline‑driven practice and play a key role in assisting with real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions for a sophisticated statewide practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of substantive commercial real estate responsibilities in support of affordable housing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document drafting and review
- Conduct legal research
- Manage digital files
- Support all phases of closings and post‑closing processes
- Interact regularly with attorneys, clients, and third‑party vendors
- Coordinate workflow across multiple matters simultaneously
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, with affordable housing experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university and a paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program
