Job Title: Handworker / Production Associate
Position Summary
The Handworker / Production Associate performs repetitive manual tasks in a production environment involving the assembly, packaging, and pricing of greeting cards. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Apply pricing labels to greeting cards using a handheld pricing gun.
- Package greeting cards in cellophane sleeves according to production specifications.
- Perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify proper packaging, pricing, and product appearance.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Meet established production goals while following company quality standards and safety procedures.
- Ability to remain seated for up to 7 hours per workday.
- Frequent repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers throughout the shift.
- Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Fast-paced environment so must be able to make deadlines.
- Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
