Job Summary
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and strategic management of our IT systems and networks, with a razor-sharp focus on security, resilience, and efficiency. In this role, you will oversee all system integrations and automations within a complex, highly automated technology environment. Serving as our resident systems expert, you will manage both existing and newly acquired enterprise technologies while providing advanced Tier 3 support and escalated troubleshooting as needed.
Key Responsibilities
🖥️ Systems Management & Automation
- Primary Administration: Serve as the lead administrator for core IT systems, including Google Workspace, OneLogin, RingCentral, Crowdstrike, Spin, and ManageEngine.
- Optimization: Regularly audit IT systems to maximize performance, reliability, and security, identifying opportunities for proactive enhancements.
- Disaster Recovery & Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve system failures to minimize downtime and restore functionality.
- Architecture & Deployment: Assist in researching, selecting, designing, and deploying new IT systems and infrastructure.
- Documentation: Build and maintain clear, accurate, up-to-date documentation for all IT functions, workflows, and system processes.
🌐 Network Administration
- End-to-End Engineering: Provide comprehensive network administration for wired and wireless networks, including routing, firewall management, and DNS.
- Performance Audits: Configure and routinely audit network equipment to ensure top-tier security and optimal bandwidth performance.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex network failures and implement swift corrective actions.
- Network Mapping: Create and maintain precise, up-to-date network diagrams and technical documentation.
🛡️ Hardware, Software, & Endpoint Management
- MDM Deployment: Create and deploy OS images, software packages, security patches, and device configurations using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
- Endpoint Security: Mitigate device security risks utilizing advanced antivirus tools and modern threat-mitigation practices.
- Cross-Platform Support: Provide escalated technical support for Windows, Apple/Mac, and Android/Chrome devices.
- Asset Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory and licensing logs for all hardware and software resources.
🔒 IT Security & Compliance
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all networks and systems rigidly adhere to cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA regulations.
- Security Initiatives: Help develop, implement, and manage organization-wide IT security frameworks.
- Incident Response: Participate in the development, review, and live testing of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan, Security Playbooks, and related protocols.
🤝 Advanced IT Support
- Tier 3 Escalations: Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, while stepping in to assist with lower-tier tickets during peak times.
- Service Excellence: Resolve IT requests efficiently and professionally, maintaining a strong focus on internal customer service and relationship building.
- SLA Accountability: Meet and exceed established SLAs and performance metrics.
Role Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree/Experience: Associate’s degree in a related technical field, OR a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience as an IT Systems Administrator.
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
