PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Santa Rosa, CA

Fully onsite | Monday–Friday

$80K–$95K depending on experience

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Managing and processing payroll in a busy, high-volume environment
• Supporting payroll for approximately 350 union employees during peak season
• Ensuring payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Working through payroll details, employee questions, deadlines, and issues
• Supporting payroll reporting, reconciliations, deductions, benefits, and related processes
• Becoming an important part of a very experienced payroll team
• Learning the construction payroll environment and continuing to grow your expertise

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

⭐ Construction payroll experience – a BIG plus!

⭐ Union payroll experience – a BIG plus!

⭐ Certified payroll / prevailing wage experience

⭐ Experience with a high-volume payroll environment

⭐ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

⭐ Organized, analytical, and deadline-driven

⭐ Someone who takes ownership and is committed to getting payroll done correctly and on time

⭐ A hardworking, driven, team-oriented approach

Construction or union payroll experience is NOT required. They have an amazing and very experienced team that is willing to train the right person, and they’ve successfully hired people who did not come directly from construction.

What matters most is finding someone who is organized, analytical, dependable, driven, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
