Accounting Lead – (Contract: 6-months)Location: Fremont, CA - On-site (40 hours/week)You are an experienced Accounting Lead to take full ownership of the accounting function for two company locations. This hands-on role is strictly accounting-focused and requires deep expertise across AR, AP, billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections. The ideal candidate is confident working independently and can manage the full accounting cycle with minimal oversight.This position pays: $45-$55 per hourWhat You Will Be DoingOverseeing full-cycle AR and AP functions for two locations.Managing billing cycles, invoicing, collections, payroll, and general ledger activities.Preparing and reviewing financial reports to support leadership decision-making.Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all accounting processes.Collaborating with leadership to provide reporting, insights, and financial updates.What You Bring5 years of progressive accounting experience.Strong hands-on expertise in AR, AP, billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Preferred: Service industry experience, job costing or contract billing knowledge, and familiarity with Sage or NetSuite.Company DescriptionIf You’re Looking For A New Opportunity, The Recruiting And Staffing Experts At Nelson Connects Can Help.
