We're looking for a warm, hospitable, and sales-focused events professional to join our team and help clients host unforgettable events and weddings at our venue.
In this role, you'll spend most of your time managing the event sales pipeline—answering inquiries, giving tours, preparing proposals, and guiding clients through contracts and payments. You'll also support on-site event execution serving as a calm, organized point of contact for clients and vendors on event days.
Job Description:
- Be the primary point of contact for prospective and booked clients, from first inquiry through event day.
- Respond quickly and professionally to leads, nurture relationships, and convert inquiries into booked weddings and events.
- Conduct venue tours for weddings, showers, birthdays, corporate outings, and more, clearly explaining packages, policies, and venue capabilities.
- Prepare proposals, walk clients through standard contracts, and manage payment schedules using our established templates and systems.
- Create and maintain accurate event details, including timelines, floor plans, and event orders, and share them with internal teams.
- Coordinate with caterers, planners, photographers, DJs, and other vendors to ensure everyone is aligned and prepared.
- Work on-site for events to oversee timeline flow, answer client questions, help enforce venue rules, and support basic setup/transition/breakdown as needed.
- Use email, calendars, and basic software tools to stay organized, keep records up to date, and communicate clearly with all parties.
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve our processes, guest experience, and overall event operations.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in event sales, venue coordination, catering sales, hospitality, or a similar client-facing role
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple clients, timelines, and tasks simultaneously
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with couples, families, and vendor partners
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach; remains calm and professional when plans change or emotions run high
- Comfortable reviewing standard contracts with clients, explaining terms in plain language, and managing payment schedules
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn internal systems while maintaining accurate digital records
- Availability to work evenings and weekends in alignment with the events calendar. For example, during our busy season, one evening a week and one weekend day or two weekend evenings.
- Comfortable being on their feet for extended periods during events and assisting with light physical tasks (e.g., moving chairs, tables, décor)
- Reliable transportation to and from the venue
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions
- Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering a high-quality event experience
