Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Service Tech - North Jersey area to New York Start your shift at our shop in Moonachie but be prepared to travel (in the company-provided work truck) to NYC to complete jobs
- This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the most complex kitchen exhaust systems on the market.
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus
$25-$35/hr. We will pay for the experience!!!! Starting wage will vary depending on experience

- Hood – kitchen hood cleaning, technical services, and repair
- Fire – Fire protection & suppression systems
- Grease – grease trap cleaning and line jetting
Your Typical Day
- Perform general maintenance on hood ventilators and company equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair ventilation systems and rooftop units
- Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs or adjustments to mechanical and electronic controls
- Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

What Will You Bring?
- Strong electrical background is required - the ability to troubleshoot and understand electrical meters in a commercial setting is a MUST!!
- Knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and experience with integrated control systems
- Experience/Knowledge of BacNet ventilation and airflow systems - preferred
- Valid driver’s license – company truck provided
- Ability to work a variety of shifts - morning, afternoon
- Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work high places
