Service Tech - Commercial Kitchen Ventilation and Controls

North Jersey area to New York - Start your shift at our shop in Moonachie but be prepared to travel ( in the company-provided work truck) to NYC to complete jobs

• This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the most complex kitchen exhaust systems on the market.
  
  

We will pay for the experience!!!! Starting wage will vary depending on experience

• Hood – kitchen hood cleaning, technical services, and repair
• Fire – Fire protection & suppression systems
• Grease – grease trap cleaning and line jetting
  
  

Your Typical Day

• Perform general maintenance on hood ventilators and company equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair ventilation systems and rooftop units
• Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs or adjustments to mechanical and electronic controls
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

What Will You Bring?

• Strong electrical background is required - the ability to troubleshoot and understand electrical meters in a commercial setting is a MUST!!
• Knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and experience with integrated control systems
• Experience/Knowledge of BacNet ventilation and airflow systems - preferred
• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided
• Ability to work a variety of shifts - morning, afternoon
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work high places
