MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

✅ 1 years food service/restaurant experience REQUIRED

✅ Current California Food Handler's Certificate (must have within 30 days)

✅ Demonstrated knowledge of:

• FIFO inventory management
• Food safety & temperature control
• Proper food labeling & dating systems
• Cross-contamination prevention
• Health department compliance

ESSENTIAL SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Speed & Efficiency: Handle 15 orders per hour during peak times

Multi-tasking: Manage multiple stations simultaneously

Quality Control: Identify and remove substandard produce

Inventory Management: Track pars, minimize waste, maintain rotation

Professional Communication: Handle customer concerns independently

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute proper FIFO rotation for 50 perishable ingredients
• Building açaí bowls, blending smoothies, and pressing fresh juices to recipe spec
• Working the register and handling online/delivery orders (OLO, DoorDash, Uber Eats)
• Prepping and rotating 50 perishable ingredients using FIFO
• Keeping the store spotless and health-department ready at all times
• Helping newer team members get up to speed

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

✓ Minimum 1-2 years high-volume food service experience (200 orders/day)

✓ Proven track record of sub-3-minute order completion

✓ Expert knowledge of FIFO, date labeling, and food safety protocols

✓ Food Handler's Certificate

✓ Weekend availability required (Friday & Saturday are mandatory)

✓ Open availability preferred

✓ Working efficiently without constant supervision

✓ Training slower team members to match your pace

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available for 3 - 7.5 hour shifts
• Peak hours are 11 AM - 2 PM and 3 PM - 6:30 PM (must be available)
• Weekend availability required
• Morning shifts start at 7 AM, closing shifts end at 7 PM

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

You will be measured on:

• Order completion time (target: under 5 minutes)
• Waste percentage (target: under 2%)
• FIFO compliance (100% required)
• Proper labeling and dating (health code requirement)
• Inventory accuracy and portion control
• Customer satisfaction scores

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
• Lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
• Work in refrigerated areas
• Fast-paced movement and multitasking
• Reliable transportation (early morning shifts)

WORKING INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Selected candidates will complete a 2-hour paid working interview where you'll demonstrate:

• Produce quality assessment
• Basic knife skills
• Following recipes precisely
• Speed and efficiency
• Food safety knowledge
