the Education, Healthcare and Laboratory Market Segment

NEIS Collective is a specialty interiors contractor of cabinet, casework, fume hoods and equipment dealership selling interior product solutions in the K-12, College/University, Laboratory and Healthcare market segments.
Our team is expanding into the Eastern PA market and we have an immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager. Until an NEIS office is established, this position will be hybrid: both based out of your home office in the Lancaster, Allentown or Reading PA area with regular time among our Eastern PA job sites and teams in both Liverpool NY and Evans City PA offices.
The Project Manager oversees assigned projects from award to closeout ensuring on time schedule delivery, under budget and within scope. Key duties include managing project turnover, submittals, schedules, order releases, delivery, installation and final punch and closeouts. This role requires a polished professional who provides excellent customer service, collaboration with the entire project team, and proactive communication with colleagues, vendors, customers and installers.
What You Will Do
- Manage assigned projects from start to finish, ensure all activities are efficiently coordinated and completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents.
- Lead a thorough project turnover from estimating and sales.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide your customer with an accurate and timely submittal package. This includes revision control of shop drawings over the life of the project.
- Communicate proactively with the customer on all aspects of the project.
- Coordinate customer schedule as it relates to our scope and milestones.
- Manage our vendor partners to ensure timely order release and delivery.
What You Bring
- Have the ability and desire to be in the field 20 - 30% of the time
- 3 years’ experience with project management preferred
- 3 years’ experience with cabinetry, lab or office furniture and overall construction experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, comparable experience, or a combination thereof, in Construction, Engineering or Architecture
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Asana preferred
