What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmworker position at Neiman Environments Inc.?
All work relating to the operation of a commercial seed farm. Such work includes, but is not limited to, soil preparation, planting, hoeing, chopping, cutting, cultivating, spraying, irrigating, ditching, moving irrigation pipe, harvesting, managing daily irrigation schedules, thrashing, picking, sifting, cleaning, sacking, loading, and transporting seed crops to barn and/or warehouse. Operation and maintenance of farm tools and equipment such as mowers, tillers, tractors, discs, plows, and other farm equipment related to seed farm production. Fence maintenance for pest (deer) exclusion may include erosion control, brush control, and general upkeep of farm buildings, grounds, and irrigation systems. Turning and spreading of compost
pile and mulching.
