We are expanding our Industrial Automation team in North America and are looking for engineers passionate about automation technologies and customer-facing engineering projects.
Role Summary
The Industrial Automation Engineer will support the design, development, programming, testing, and commissioning of machines/systems for manufacturing clients across North America.
The role involves working with multidisciplinary engineering teams located in the US and India while supporting customer projects involving PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial communication networks, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
This position offers exposure to multiple industries including food & beverage, consumer products, paper & non-woven, packaging, life sciences, and automotive suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop PLC application software for industrial automation projects
- Design and develop HMI/SCADA applications
- Configure industrial communication protocols
- Perform I/O mapping and system testing
- Participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning activities
- Support machine automation and production line automation projects
- Troubleshoot software during commissioning
- Prepare automation documentation
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and process engineering teams
- Work closely with global engineering teams located in India and the US
- Travel to customer sites for commissioning, startup and engineering support
