What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at NeilMed Pharmaceuticals, Inc?
GENERAL DESCRIPTION - DUTIES
· Carry out routine inspection, testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products
· Ensure that turnaround times are met
· Assist in sampling activities
· Send samples to the contract laboratories for testing and follow up with the labs for test results and for any OOS investigation
· Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards
· Write and maintain necessary documentation (test protocols, SOPs, Investigate customer complaints and product issues)
· Work with product and process development team to transfer new products into Manufacturing
· Ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMP, cGDP and cGLP
· Review, verification, and approval of the cleaning activities carried out in production
· Adhere to all processes and procedures
· Perform Material qualification testing of components and prepare Material qualification report (MQR)
· Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, SKILLS, EDUCATION)
· At a minimum 1-3 years of related experience
· Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Preferably worked in regulated industry
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in scientific field
· Effective communication (written and verbal) and reporting skills
· Good observation skills
· Detail oriented
· Ability to work with data in excel and word
· Ability to multi-task.
· Have a strong work ethic and ability to meet quality standards
· Fluent in written and spoken English (Bilingual preferred)
