What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Neilly Canvas Goods Company?
We are currently hiring for a general laborer to assist team members around the shop and out in the field. The right candidate should be mechanically inclined, and ready to learn about the tarp and awning industry. Uniforms, tools, and on the job training are available for new team members. Forklift, sewing, and welding experience are a plus. After a 3 month probationary period, employees will be offered benefits, PTO, and qualify for a raise.

Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools, along with working on ladders, to build and repair tarps, awnings, and truck arm systems according to customer specifications.
- Assist team members in the shop with inventory, organization, and other projects.
Abilities Needed
- Comfortable working on ladders.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Troubleshooting during projects.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math involving inches, feet, and yards.
