Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Manicuring Instructor based in Los Angeles, CA. The Manicuring Instructor will teach and guide students in nail technology, ensuring they meet state licensure requirements. The daily responsibilities include conducting theory and practical lessons, demonstrating various manicuring techniques, assessing student progress, and preparing them for state board exams. The instructor is also expected to maintain a professional learning environment and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Nail Technology, including advanced techniques such as manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, soft/hard gel nails, nail forms, Gel X, and nail art.
- Teaching or instructional experience, with strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and evaluate students while providing constructive feedback
- Knowledge of state board requirements and safety regulations in nail technology
- Valid Manicuring License in California; Instructor certification is a plus
- Passion for education and development in the beauty industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
