Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Provide menus and relay any specials or promotions to guests
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth service flow
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for seating assignments
Qualifications
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is a plus
- Strong guest relations abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in communicating effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food service procedures and guest services
