Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Pool Maintenance & Construction Technician to join our team. This unique role combines residential and commercial pool cleaning and servicing with hands-on participation in pool construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate is hard-working, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working both independently in the field and alongside a crew on build sites. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, grow within the industry, and contribute to high-quality pool projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool service tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and chemical balancing to maintain clean and safe water conditions
- Inspect pool systems and equipment such as pumps, filters, plumbing, and automation to identify issues and assist with basic repairs
- Assist with pool construction activities including excavation support, plumbing installation, equipment setup, tile/coping, and job-site cleanup
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for both maintenance and construction tasks
- Support renovation and repair projects such as leak detection assistance, replaster prep, decking support, and equipment replacements
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, materials used, and work performed using software provided by us on your cellular device.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards on service routes and construction sites
- Provide professional and courteous communication with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Experience in pool maintenance, general labor, construction, or a related trade preferred
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills with willingness to learn
- Familiarity with pool chemicals, water testing, or pool equipment is a plus
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently during service routes and as part of a crew during builds
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving ability
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
- Positive attitude and desire to grow within the pool industry
