About the Role

As our Post-Closing Specialist, you will provide vital support by ensuring our loan files are compliant, accurate, and ready for purchase. You’ll manage a pipeline of up to 50 loans, handling everything from shipping original notes to managing MERS registrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Management: Monitor and clear a pipeline of up to 50 loans for purchase.
• Document Logistics: Ship original notes to lenders, track deliveries, and scan documents into Calyx.
• Compliance & Review: Run UCDs from Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and review packages to ensure all names, addresses, notary pages, and case numbers are 100% accurate.
• Post-Purchase Tasks: Transfer MI certificates, update mortgagee clauses, and handle the "Good-bye" letters for borrowers.
• Reporting: Manage MERS/CRMS annual reporting and quarterly attestations.
• Quality Control: Collaborate on monthly QC audits for 10% of our files.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous experience in mortgage post-closing or lending regulations is highly preferred.
• Skills: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and prioritize work effectively.
• Tech Savvy: Ability to sit at a computer monitor for extended periods and manually manipulate standard office equipment.

Compensation

• $30/hour to start, salary considered after 6 months
