Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Loan Processor role based in San Antonio, TX. The Mortgage Loan Processor will manage loan files from application through closing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and investor guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing borrower documentation, verifying income, assets, credit, and employment, and preparing loan files for underwriting decision. The role will coordinate closely with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary conditions, resolve discrepancies, and meet closing timelines. The Mortgage Loan Processor will also maintain clear communication with borrowers, provide status updates, and support a smooth, transparent lending experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, including current regulations and standard practices.
- Experience in mortgage lending and handling various types of residential loans.
- Hands-on expertise in loan processing, including document review, verification, and file preparation.
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and the ability to prepare files to meet underwriting conditions.
- Proficiency with loan origination systems and basic office software (e.g., LOS platforms, MS Office).
