Job Description
Neighborhood Loans is seeking an Entry-Level Lock Desk Analyst to join our Capital Markets team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to begin a career in the mortgage and financial services industry.
As a Lock Desk Analyst, you will support the Capital Markets Department by assisting with daily pricing, loan lock activity, and internal communication. You will receive hands-on training and ongoing mentorship while learning how mortgage pricing, loan pipelines, and compliance requirements work in a fast-paced lending environment.

What You Do (Responsibilities)
- Assist with verifying and confirming daily loan lock requests under supervision
- Support processing of lock extensions, relocks, and program changes
- Help monitor daily loan pipelines and assist with pipeline reporting
- Learn to use pricing engines and internal loan systems (training provided)
- Provide basic support to internal users of pricing tools
- Assist with lock reconciliation for purchased loans
- Communicate with internal teams regarding loan pricing and lock status
- Learn compliance requirements related to TRID and RESPA regulations
- Assist in preparing and sending initial loan disclosures within required timelines
- Support re-disclosures when changes occur, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Cross-train in other Capital Markets functions to build a well-rounded skill set
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Business, Economics, Math, or related field a plus)
- 0–1 years of experience required
- Internships, part-time roles, or campus jobs are acceptable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic analytical and math skills with a willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Interest in mortgage lending, finance, or capital markets
Experience with mortgage systems (Encompass, Optimal Blue) is not required — training will be provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Willingness to learn mortgage regulations, pricing, and internal systems
- On-site position (in person)
