Job Summary/Overview:
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition, recruiting processes, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for various positions while contributing to employer branding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with job postings.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, company website).
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information.
- Assist in onboarding tasks, including documentation and new hire orientation support.
- Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition and employee engagement.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance of employee records and HR databases.
- Help organize employee engagement activities and training programs.
- Assist with the development of HR newsletters, announcements, and other internal communications to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Design and produce informative materials, such as guides, presentations, and infographics, to communicate HR programs and resources to employees.
- Conduct research on various HR topics and prepare reports as needed.
- Ad hoc projects/work as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
