Senior/experienced commercial litigator in growing law firm established in 1978. Egg Harbor Township (Atlantic County) based firm has 20 attorneys and handles all aspects of real estate development, litigation, estate planning, employment law, liquor license law and similar practice areas. Other offices located in Avalon and Bridgeton. Client base includes Fortune 500 companies, businesses, financial institutions and real estate investors. Responsibilities
This attorney will play a prominent role in representing clients independently concerning a broad range of commercial disputes and land use appeals in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution forums. The successful candidate will work directly with clients, develop litigation strategy, manage all phases of litigation, and contribute to the growth and development of the firm's litigation practice. The candidate must be able to work independently and have strong advocacy and writing skills. Preference for 10 or more years experience in handling sophisticated litigation matters.
Qualifications
Must be licensed to practice law in good standing in New Jersey. Commercial and employment litigation experience in the public or private sectors. Experience handling one or more of the following: contract disputes; affordable housing litigation; land use appeals; challenges to governmental action; and real estate and construction disputes. Extensive motion practice and deposition experience is necessary with the ability to manage complex cases independently and good client interaction. Preference is for candidate with meaningful trial court experience and supervising associates and litigation teams.
