Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to deliver high-quality primary care services within our community-focused health center. The ideal candidate will possess a broad medical expertise, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient-centered care. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and promoting health and wellness across diverse patient populations.

Duties:

• Provides quality patient care.
• Establishes treatment plans for patients and counsels patients accordingly.
• Achieves the clinical performance measures for clinic patients assigned to the provider panel.
• Achieves clinic productivity goals.
• Participates in medical record audits, peer review, clinical data review, and other practice review activities.
• Participates in the after-hours call rotation with other providers.
• Participates in various clinic committees, as appropriate.
• Participates in all clinic quality improvement activities.
• Participates in student training opportunities.
• Complies with all clinic policies and procedures.
• Assists in community public relations functions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Attributes

• Knowledge of the principles and practice of preventive medicine.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to medicine and HHS/HRSA regulations.
• Knowledge of the structure and operations of community health centers.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, patients, and community members.
• Active listener who is interested in being part of a collaborative and patient-centered team.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment by prioritizing multiple tasks to perform efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine degree from a college or university accredited by the American Medical Association.
• Successful completion of an approved program of residency training in family practice or internal medicine preferred.
• Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics preferred.
• Current license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience providing patient care to adolescents and youth preferred.
• Experience working with electronic medical records software.
• CPR certification.
