Position Summary
Negril Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations within our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of equipment and systems through effective planning, data analysis, and team leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to lead and develop technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize maintenance management systems (e.g., MaintainX) to issue and track work orders, labor hours, parts usage, and equipment failures
- Coordinate and schedule routine, preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance activities
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Order maintenance parts and manage inventory levels
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts for equipment reliability
- Provide troubleshooting support, root cause analysis, and problem-solving expertise to Operations
- Direct and deploy technical resources for equipment maintenance and repair
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure all technical documentation and equipment standards are current and accessible
- Train and develop technicians at all skill levels (basic to advanced)
- Foster continuous improvement and technical skill advancement across the team
- Partner with Plant Leadership to optimize maintenance planning, sanitation, and startup efficiency
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and respond promptly to maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading maintenance/technical personnel
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead team members
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CMMS such as MaintainX)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in food manufacturing or similar regulated industry
- Project management experience
Pay: $25.85 - $31.14 per hour
