Shift Lead – Negranti Creamery
Position Summary
As a Shift Lead at Negranti Creamery, you are more than just a reliable team
member—you’re a key part of creating an exceptional experience for both guests and
teammates. You are expected to lead the team with purpose, uphold our core values,
and bring energy, accountability, and consistency to every shift. Reporting directly to the
Shoppe Manager, you ensure smooth operations, support staff development, and model
what it means to Keep it Fresh, Make People Smile, Own Your Shift, Level Up, and
Think Bigger.
Core Responsibilities
In addition to your responsibilities as an ice cream scooper, you are accountable for the
following:
Operational Leadership
● Open and close the shoppe following company procedures and standards
● Oversee cash handling and ensure accurate financial practices
● Monitor business flow and staff accordingly (send teammates home when volume is
low)
● Maintain clear shift-to-shift communication through notes and verbal updates
● Identify and report maintenance or functionality issues to Shoppe Manager, Director
of Operations, or other responsible parties as provided.
● Submit inventory updates to the Shoppe Manager, Director of Operations, or other
responsible parties as provided.
Team Support and Accountability
● Lead by example through professionalism, attitude, and effort
● Reinforce dress code, readiness standards, and shift preparedness
● Ensure team members follow cleaning checklists and stay productive during
downtime
● Provide in-the-moment coaching and follow up on training plans
● Communicate company priorities and updates to the team
● Ensure all teammates are informed and aligned with shoppe goals
Guest Experience and Cleanliness
● Uphold and model Negranti’s customer-first service philosophy
● Address guest complaints with empathy and problem-solving
● Maintain health code standards and ensure teammates do the same
● Organize front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) spaces for efficiency and
cleanliness
● Champion our cleanliness and food safety standards every shift

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
