The primary purpose of the Warehouse Representative is to maintain inventory and process shipments for customer sales through collaborative relationships with all members of Neff to ensure that the highest degree of accuracy is maintained at all times.

Essential Functions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday, and exposure to extreme temperatures. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers. This position will require the use of a forklift.
Education & Experience
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop. This position requires the use of hands and fingers to pick and package parts, type, handle controls as well as the ability to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to hear and to speak. The employee may frequently lift items 20 pounds or more, occasionally lift items 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Directly reports to Warehouse Team Leader and Operations Manager.
- This position is non-supervisory.

Essential Functions
- Receive and unload shipments, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence.
- File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated shipping storage area.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all co-workers.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Weigh and count items for distribution.
- May be assigned to assembly duties as needed.
- Prepare orders for shipping/mailing.
- General cleaning and organization of warehouse area.
- Assist walk-in customers as needed.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prefer 2 – 3 years of relevant experience with some assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interprets technical procedures, and product information in English.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to perform counts and utilize bin location sequencing.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Mechanical aptitude regarding parts, their use, application and limitations in order to make recommendations to customer.
- Computer literacy: software navigation, e-mail, word processing, data entry.
