Job Description:

As an SAP Test Manager , you will serve as a crucial validation and quality assurance expert, responsible for overseeing the quality and functionality of complex SAP systems. You will lead the testing life cycle, from requirement analysis and defining the test strategy to leading execution and reporting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, defect-free solutions that meet client business needs. Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Conduct detailed requirement analysis, define comprehensive test strategies, approaches, and test designs for SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects (preferably including S4 HANA).
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Act as the onsite lead coordinator, effectively managing and collaborating with onsite, offshore, SI Partner, IT, Business, and 3rd Party Vendor teams in a global delivery model.
• Execution Oversight: Lead and manage end-to-end test execution, ensuring adherence to the defined plan, schedule, and quality standards.
• Risk & Impact Management: Conduct rigorous Impact Assessments, identify testing risks, and develop mitigation plans within a TCoE (Test Center of Excellence) setup.
• Quality & Defect Management: Drive defect triage calls across various testing cycles and manage stakeholders (internal and customer) throughout the testing life cycle.
• Reporting & Metrics: Prepare, monitor, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly status reports, as well as comprehensive testing metrics, to all expected stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and drive the implementation of appropriate testing tools and technologies (e.g., TOSCA / Worksoft) and methodologies, aligning with industry-wide best practices.
• Testing Expertise: Ensure robust coverage for key SAP testing areas, including integration testing, regression testing, and associated test automation, leveraging expertise in SAP functional modules (e.g., SAP IS Retail, Omnichannel).

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 7 years of progressive Information Technology experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. (Will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education).
• SDLC & Methodology: Experience and strong knowledge of the full SDLC lifecycle and Lean / Agile development methodologies.
• Testing Fundamentals: Strong understanding of testing processes, testing life cycle, Project Management strategies, and Test Execution.

Preferred Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in test strategy and test design.
• At least 7 years of experience in test execution analysis and reporting.
• Proven experience playing the role of SAP Test Manager for implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects, with experience managing S4 HANA testing preferred.
• Good functional knowledge in an SAP module, such as SAP IS Retail or Omnichannel.
• Expertise in test planning, recommending test approaches/strategies, conducting Impact Assessments, and managing Testing risks within a TCoE framework.
• In-depth knowledge of current industry-wide testing techniques, tools (TOSCA / Worksoft), and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
