Job Description
Required Skill and Experience
• Experience working as a Mainframes Architect on large scale enterprise modernization programs.
• Lead assessment of legacy mainframe applications, batch workloads, interfaces, databases, dependencies, and infrastructure components
• Conduct application inventory, complexity analysis, dependency mapping, and modernization wave planning.
• Define modernization strategies
• Mainframes (Enterprise grade) – deep hands on and architectural expertise
• COBOL,JCL,CICS,DB2,VSAM
• Lead end to end architecture design for large scale modernization programs, including legacy mainframe (COBOL) to Java.
• Create detailed architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration patterns, and deployment models
Preferred Skill and Experience
• Establish integration patterns using APIs, Kafka event streams, messaging frameworks, and secure service-to-service communications
• Experience on designing the applications using DB2, CICS, VSAM
