Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Oversee the Fort Worth office’s operations, ensuring alignment with firm-wide goals. Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the office’s growth, profitability, and reputation as a trusted partner in municipal, water / wastewater and civil engineering.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Actively pursue client development opportunities and represent the firm in industry events and competitor interactions.
- Project Management: Direct complex municipal and civil engineering projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include proposal development, scope definition, cost estimation, and ensuring high-quality deliverables within budget and timeline constraints.
- Team Supervision: Mentor and manage a diverse team of staff engineers and project managers, fostering a collaborative environment. Oversee both project execution and administrative functions to ensure operational excellence.
- Business Development: Drive the financial success of the Fort Worth office by identifying new opportunities, managing budgets, and ensuring the profit center’s performance meets or exceeds expectations.
Experience: Municipal, water/wastewater and/or civil engineering in the North Texas market, including significant experience in a leadership or management role. Proven track record in client-facing roles and managing profitable projects.

- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited school.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
- PMP Preferred but not required.
- Experience in civil engineering or deep knowledge of the municipal or water / wastewater engineering industry.
- Experience leading and managing staff preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in business development and client management.
- Experience in budget management and preparation of proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and spreadsheets.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel is required.
