What are the responsibilities and job description for the NHS Science Lab Aide (Student Position) (6) (SY26-27) position at Needham High School?
We are seeking Needham High School students who:
- have completed 10 hours as lab volunteer
- can work 1-2 hours per week and is willing to make a COMMITMENT for at least 6 months during the school year
- is RELIABLE and will show up as agreed (Tuesday afternoons and Friday at 7:45 am),
- can communicate effectively with teachers and is able to take INITIATIVE and ask for help or direction as needed,
- is willing to keep the science classrooms CLEAN and stocked with equipment and the ‘prep’ room clean and ORGANIZED,
- is FLEXIBLE to complete all varieties of tasks and activities. (some will be mundane and others out of the ordinary),
- is EXCITED to learn how to make solutions and prepare materials for lab experiments, and
- is able to effectively COMMUNICATE and organize volunteer tasks and schedules
Hourly Rate: $10.87/hr
