Driver

Need-A-Ride Transportation Services, LLC is seeking dependable, professional, and safety-focused drivers to transport passengers throughout Lafayette and surrounding areas. Some assignments may include long-distance travel.

Responsibilities:

Pick up and drop off passengers safely and on time

Follow dispatch instructions and use GPS for navigation

Communicate professionally with passengers and dispatch

Keep the vehicle clean, comfortable, and smoke-free

Perform basic vehicle safety checks before trips

Assist passengers with light luggage when needed

Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies

Provide friendly, respectful, and confidential customer service

Qualifications:

Valid Louisiana driver’s license

Safe and acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a background check and driving-record check

Reliable smartphone with GPS and active service

Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Flexible availability, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Previous rideshare, taxi, shuttle, chauffeur, delivery, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required

Drivers must provide any required license, registration, and insurance documents for the vehicle they will operate.

This is a passenger transportation position. No commercial trucking, freight hauling, hazardous-material transportation, or CDL is required.
