We are hiring CDL-A Local Drivers for a dedicated position based in Toledo, OH. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent local freight, daily home time, and reliable weekly pay. Drivers will pick up freight from Toledo and Columbus rail yards and deliver directly to customers.
Pay & Earnings
- Average weekly pay: $1,100 – $1,300
- Short haul pay: $40 per revenue load
- Stop pay: $20 per stop
- $300 orientation pay — only 1 day orientation
- Weekly direct deposit
Home Time & Schedule
- Home daily
- Sunday through Thursday schedule
- Consistent year-round freight
Freight & Equipment
- Drop and hook
- Pickup from Toledo and Columbus rail yards
- Local deliveries to customers
- Late-model automatic transmission trucks
- Well-maintained fleet with advanced safety features
Daily Responsibilities
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Operate safely and follow all DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs using the ELD system
- Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries and ETAs
- Ensure on-time and safe delivery of freight
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months CDL-A driving experience required
- Must live within 50 miles of Toledo, OH
- Current DOT medical card required
