Position Summary

We are seeking an Apprenticeship Program Administrator to support the administration and compliance of Registered Apprenticeship programs. This role ensures programs remain compliant with U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship (OA) regulationsInflation Reduction Act (IRA) apprenticeship requirements, and applicable state apprenticeship standards while supporting apprentices, employers, and training partners.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in workforce development or apprenticeship program administration. This position supports a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) and requires experience working with Department of Labor apprenticeship standardsapprenticeship tracking, and program compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Program Administration

  • Coordinate day-to-day administration of Registered Apprenticeship programs.
  • Manage apprentice enrollment, agreements, and program documentation.
  • Track apprentice progress, including On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours and Related Technical Instruction (RTI).
  • Maintain accurate apprentice records and program documentation.


Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure programs comply with Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship regulations.
  • Monitor compliance with IRA apprenticeship and prevailing wage requirements.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain program data in apprenticeship tracking systems (such as RAPIDS or similar platforms).


Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between apprentices, employers, training providers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with onboarding new apprentices and participating employers.
  • Coordinate program activities and ensure training milestones are met.


Data & Documentation

  • Maintain apprenticeship records, wage progression tracking, and training milestones.
  • Prepare reports related to apprenticeship participation, completion, and compliance.
  • Assist with workforce development or grant reporting, if applicable.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience supporting Registered Apprenticeship Programs, workforce development programs, or training program administration in a regulated environment.
  • Experience working with Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship regulations and apprenticeship standards.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to maintain program records, compliance documentation, and training milestones.
  • Proficiency with Excel, data tracking, data reporting, pivot tables, and reporting systems.
  • Experience maintaining participant records, training documentation, and compliance reporting for workforce development or apprenticeship programs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) standards and RAPIDS system.
  • Knowledge of Inflation Reduction Act apprenticeship requirements and prevailing wage compliance.
  • Experience coordinating training programs, apprenticeships, or workforce initiatives.


Relevant Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP)
  • Registered Apprenticeship Professional Certificate (RAPC)
  • SHRM-CP or PHR (for HR-related apprenticeship administration roles)


Travel & Location Requirements

The position requires up to 25% of travel to support apprenticeship program activities, employer partners, and training locations.

Candidates should ideally be based in Southern California and able to reliably meet in the Corona/Riverside area as needed for meetings, program coordination, and site visits.

Local candidates in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, or surrounding Southern California areas are strongly preferred.
