Summary
The Structural Engineer will perform design, analysis, and evaluation of structural systems.
Essential Functions
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Physical Demands
This position is a combination of field work, travel related work, and sedentary work. An employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. An employee may also be required to traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
Travel
Regular Travel will be required as a part of this Structural Forensic Engineer position. Some overnight travel may be required.

The Structural Engineer will perform design, analysis, and evaluation of structural systems.
Essential Functions
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects
- Develop detailed calculations, construction documents, specifications, and technical reports
- Evaluate existing structures, including field investigations and condition assessments
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Utilize documented facts and reports to develop a constructable, efficient solution
- Apply theories and knowledge to real-world situations
- Complete assignments on time as requested by client
- Conduct ethical practices consistently

- Detail oriented
- Written and verbal communication
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 4 or more years of engineering design experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain licensure within six months
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing, and demonstrated safe driving habits
- S/he must be able to pass a criminal background check as required for the position
