The Ned’s Club DC is seeking an exceptional Lead Cocktail Server for The Drawing Room, a refined and dynamic entertainment venue within our private members’ club. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for personalized service, fast-paced environments, and a strong understanding of luxury guest expectations.The Lead Cocktail Server will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of The Drawing Room’s cocktail service before, during, and after live entertainment and performances. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.Reporting into the Restaurant management team and as the friendly face of the member experience you will:• Lead service in The Drawing Room, ensuring a high level of attention and pace during entertainment activations• Provide anticipatory, personalized service to members and guests in a luxury setting• Prepare, coordinate, and maintain service flow before, during, and after live music and performances• Guide guests through cocktail offerings, upsell premium selections, and provide knowledgeable recommendations• Ensure all orders are accurately entered using the Micros POS system• Set and maintain the ambiance and presentation standards of the space• Support fellow team members and bar staff in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness• Address member and guest needs with urgency, discretion, and hospitality• Maintain knowledge of house events, performances, and exclusive offerings to enhance service deliveryWhat you can bring to the role:• Minimum 2 years of cocktail or luxury lounge service experience• Experience in high-volume, upscale nightlife or entertainment-driven environments• Familiarity with Micros POS systems• Strong communication and time management skills• Proven ability to multitask under pressure without compromising service quality• Passion for hospitality, performance-driven service, and member engagement• Knowledge of fine spirits, cocktails, and wine is a strong advantage• We love people to continuously improve, so if you have the desire to learn and progress then you can take part in loads of learning here at Ned’s Club as part of our monthly learning calendar• Able to work evening and late-night hours required-(Tuesday–Saturday schedule; flexibility on holidays and special event nights)• Fast-paced, high-touch service environment with live entertainmentWhat The Ned can give you:• Salary of up to $18.00/hour plus gratuity• Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD Insurance• Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opens• Exciting learning and development programs to help progress your career• Exclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel stays• Paid time off• 401k matching• Employee assistance program - advice and support• Reward and recognition initiativesAt The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
