We’re looking for a Production Compounder who likes working with their hands, pays attention to the details others miss, and understands that consistency is what makes a great product.
What You’ll Do
- Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to approved formulas and batch records.
- Produce batches accurately and on time to meet daily production schedules.
- Follow standard procedures to ensure consistency, safety, and product quality.
- Perform basic in-process checks (temperature, appearance, weight, etc.).
- Accurately document all work in real time.
- Set up, operate, and clean mixing and production equipment.
- Stage and verify materials before production begins.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, including cleaning equipment and work areas throughout the shift.
- Ensure batches meet quality standards before moving to the next stage.
- Prepare finished batches for transfer or next steps in the production process.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Communicate issues early, whether it’s materials, quality, or equipment.
- Support other production or operational tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions exactly.
- Comfortable working with formulas, measurements, and basic math.
- Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently once trained.
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable working around fragrances, oils, and heated materials.
- Open to candidates with either prior manufacturing experience or strong transferable skills with a willingness to learn.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with GMP or regulated production environments.
- Experience with batch records or production documentation.
Compensation
- $18/hour during paid training (first 90 days)
- $21/hour after successful completion of training and onboarding
We move fast on training and reward growth quickly as you become fully confident in the role.
Schedule
- Typically scheduled during daytime hours.
- Schedule may vary based on production needs, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
Physical & Work Environment
- Standing for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift).
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to fragrance, essential oils, and production materials.
- Use of standard PPE (gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
