Position Overview
Join our innovative team as an experienced AI Integration Engineer to support the development, integration, and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions for the U.S. Air Force at Westover Air Reserve Base.
The selected candidate will design and deploy AI/ML systems that enhance mission operations for Base Civil Engineering. These solutions will leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, and automation to improve operational efficiency, energy optimization, and mission readiness.
This role requires experience in machine learning model development, cloud architecture, and DevSecOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models to support mission operations.
- Develop predictive analytics platforms supporting contract analysis, energy optimization, and operational readiness.
- Build and maintain scalable AI pipelines and automated workflows.
- Integrate AI models into enterprise systems and operational platforms.
- Develop data pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Deploy AI services in secure cloud and hybrid environments.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
- Conduct monthly training sessions for government personnel on AI tools and platforms.
- Produce system documentation including user guides and technical manuals.
- Monitor system performance, conduct model retraining, and maintain deployed AI systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Experience working with large datasets including data preparation and feature engineering.
- Experience developing ETL pipelines.
- Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience developing APIs and backend services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce documentation and deliver training to non-technical users.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government environments.
- Experience with big data platforms such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop.
- Experience integrating AI services into enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks and secure coding practices.
- Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or federal programs.

Clearance Requirement
Active Secret clearance preferred; candidates must at minimum be eligible for a NACI / Public Trust background investigation.
Pay: $96.00 - $105.00 per hour
