As a Warehouse Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately documenting, and organizing inventory, and coordinating with other team members to ensure products are stocked and ready for distribution. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Role Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately documenting, and organizing inventory, and coordinating with other team members to ensure products are stocked and ready for distribution. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify they match the purchase orders and are in good condition.
- Accurately receive items in IFS (business systems).
- Sort, label, and store incoming shipments in designated areas.
- Assist in counting and verifying stock quantities.
- Process Inventory receipts, customer and vendor returns.
- Keep NECI Personnel informed on inventory related issue, quality, discrepancies etc.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete daily tasks.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Participate in the company's safety and health programs.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Contributes to overall team and business success.
- Demonstrates company values by actively participating in office events.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as receiving associate or similar position (1-3 years).
- High computer system application literacy including Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new business applications quickly.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Keen eye for detail
- Must be able to work off hours, weekends, and OT on a short notice and on an on-going basis, based on business needs.
- Self-motivated, self-reliant, self-directed, and highly organized.
- Willingness to Travel to other locations and work as needed.
- Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and moving heavy awkward products.
- Must be able to learn how to operate large warehouse equipment, fork trucks, 5-ton cranes, etc.
- High level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is necessary for career advancement.
